Parent-School Relationship

  • This calendar is a connecting link between the parents and the school. Occasional remarks from the teachers are conveniently sent through the pages of this diary and the parents are requested to do likewise.
  • The co-operation and support of the parents is expected to ensure regularity and punctuality of the students in academics and other co-curricular activities of the school. Parents should see that their children prepare their lessons, do their home­work regularly and take an active and genuine interest in the activities of the school.
  • Teachers are available for interaction in connection with any query concerning the progress, conduct and attendance of the students on the parents teachers meeting day. On other days a written permission from the principal has to be obtained before contacting the teachers in urgency.
  • The complete whole year's performance is taken into consideration for promotion to next class.
  • Visitors are not allowed to meet the class teachers and pupils in their respective class rooms during the school hours. In urgent cases students may be contacted only through the school authorities.
  • All communications with the principal, written or telephonic, should mention the name, class and section of the student.
  • Parents are requested to give specimen signatures of both father and mother separately, in order to verify their signatures in the report cards, remarks of leave record page etc. in the school diary.
  • If a student is seriously ill or suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, she /he should not be sent to school. A leave application has to be submitted to the principal immediately. On recovery,
  • a doctor's certificate has to be produced stating that she/he is fully cured and is fit for attending the classes.
  • Parents/Guardians are requested to notify in writing any change in their address or telephone numbers to the Principal.
  • Parents are expected to attend Parents Teachers Meeting regularly. In case of any inconvenience with regard to the functioning of the school or the progress of the student, the parents are encouraged to approach the principal.
  • No office business will be a transacted on holidays and after the office hours.
  • No exam, including the oral exam, will be taken before or after the scheduled date. Parents are requested not to make unnecessary requests.
